Matt covered the middle while I did the edges.
Diamond Lake Sewage Ponds had a Yellow-Headed Blackbird and a Northern
Shrike, as well as a pair of Mountain Bluebirds.
The shorebirds were moving and sitting on the coast, I finally got my
county Whimbrel when two flocks of a total of 35 flew north into the wind
in front of me. There was also a flock of 13 Red Knots and some scattered
Black-Bellied Plovers on the beach. Lots of Dowitchers, few calling but
heard long and short-billed.
