I found a single Snow Goose outside of Glendale on Glendale Valley Road
near a small pond with some Canada Geese. It was much "cleaner" than the
ones seen last week in Canyonville, I presume it is a different bird even
though Snow Geese are "casual" in Douglas County. There were a few
Greater-White Fronted Geese along Azalea-Glen Road as well.
I tried to wait out the rain and birded Galesville Reservoir for a few
minutes. There were a couple of Killdeer along with some Bufflehead,
Ring-Necked Ducks, Common Mergansers, Coots, and Mallards. There was also a
small flock of Juncos, and a weird Red Crossbill with a white wing-bar. ;)
