Which is a very short flight west(10 Kim )of where Craig saw them. Because
there are no bridges between Corvallis and Harrisburg, people bird Linn and
Benton Counties separately in their cars and in their heads. Similar sized
flocks of Greater wfgeese were starting to winter at estuaries between Coos
Bay and Astoria 10 years ago. What happened with them?

Yesterday, while traveling to and from a project site west of Halsey, I
saw a flock of approximately 30 Snow Geese in the field southwest of the
intersection of American Drive and Powerline Road. eBird indicates that
Snow Goose records in that area are relatively sparse and that the majority
of those sightings involve numbers of Snow Geese in the single digits.
