you include the banana slugs which I try to toss back into the forest as
they are natives. I think I need better predators given everything they say
about use of bait etc. And yeah, I'll stick with tiny amounts of sevin on
the individual plants/seeded areas in question - most of which is limited
to a raised covered bed. It seems to work.

Maybe I spent too many years living in Humboldt where Banana Slugs were
celebrated. I took care not to step on them when out hiking, if only
because that would be gross and they are pretty impressive.
