Okay, as I stood nine hours in cold and rain on Sunday waiting in vain for
the Siberian Accentor in Surrey, B.C., I confess that maybe, just maybe, I
allowed negativity to creep into my thoughts and soul. When I got a brief
but definitive view of the accentor on Monday, everything was rosy again.
The nicer weather and partial sun apparently played a role in the
accentor's behavior today, as others got a number of looks at it after I
had to start home. A fun and distinctive bird.
