A Short-eared owl popped up out of the marsh on Ricketts Rd. in between
Creswell and Pleasant Hill today around 12:25. I was scanning with my scope
when a Red-tailed Hawk and a Harrier flew over and must have flushed the bird
temporarily. I could not manage to get a picture of it before it flew back into
the reeds but it was unmistakably a Short-eared.
