Today we observed an encounter between an adult bald eagle and a golden eagle.
The eagle dove at the golden and forced it to fly from its branch. This was
on the left near marker six where there were two great horned owls today also.
The short eared owl was seen soon after 4pm on the dike at the south end of
the auto loop. (Near marker twelve) Loraine and John Allinger
