Today I visited the Sheridan sewage ponds from 11 AM -noon. I started under
cloudy skies, then got rained on, then hit with a chilling wind.
At the sewage ponds I found
1 PEREGRINE FALCON
1 Pied-billed Grebe

1 Canada goose
300 Mallards
650 Shoveler
20 Am Wigeon
30 Green-winged Teal
1 Pintail
2 Canvasback
200 Lesser Scaup
275 Ringnecks
200 Bufflehead
350 Ruddy Ducks

3 Glaucous-winged Gulls
2 MEW GULLS - FOY
2 Song Sparrows
2 Blackbirds
After lunch I checked the fishing pond AKA Southside Park. I found
1 Great Egret
20 Mallards
12 Shoveler
12 Am Wigeon
6 Green-winged Teal
30 Lesser Scaup
1 Ringneck
12 Hooded Merganser
2 Scrub Jays
25 Starlings
On the drive back to McMinnville I found
2 Ravens
3 Red-tails
1 Rough-leg
At the track behind the hospital I found
32 Canada Geese (same as yesterday)
1 immature Snow Goose (same as yesterday)
1 Kestrel
