Hi all,
The previously reported Sharp-tailed Sandpipers by Dennis Arendt this
morning were still near the same location late this afternoon. I missed
seeing them on my walk west on Royal Avenue but either they returned from
wherever they might have gone or moved closer in to the Royal path so I did
spot them on my return trip. They were approximately 30 yds west of the
osprey tower, north of Royal Ave. They were hard to keep track of as they
would dig down in the mud and dip their heads out of sight, making it
difficult to see them and to differentiate them from the 4-5 Pectoral
Sandpipers that were in the same location.
