About three miles up Upper Camp Creek Road on the northeast side of
Springfield, I pulled over on the right side of the road at the driveway area
for a small open-sided barn that contained some large round bales of hay. The
barn is very close to the road. When I pished a bit, a SAY'S PHOEBE popped up
on the fence to the right of the barn. The phoebe was very active and popped
up a couple of other times, but kept going down to the ground where it was
probably finding plenty to eat.
