As at John Thomas' house near Silverton, A small flock (fifteen) of Sandhill
Cranes just passed by our house south of Crabtree, Linn County. They were
high, and heading south. Earliier, at about 10:30 this morning there were
three cranes flying north, low over our woods. They might be lingering in
the area, but who knows?
Last night at 1:30 AM, a Saw-whet Owl was calling north of the house, and a
Mountain Chickadee is still visiting our feeders.
