- Comments: "continuing bird, skulking under salal near pump, orangy
tones on top, white breast with black streaks, about 9 inches, strong
slightly decurved bill, long tail. Seen briefly two times, the first
time I heard it growl, seen through thick vegetation in profile, the
second time the bird briefly popped out of a gap in the salal 5 feet
from me, then turned and ran back in."
