The records I compiled for our yard here on Rummel Street in McMinnville
spanning 1993-2019 show a pattern of Ruby-crowned Kinglet visits in the winter
that was fairly regular up until 2006 (present all winter from Nov 2002 through
Mar 2003)
They've only been here sporadically in Oct - Dec. from 2007 - 2019. I'm not
sure why the change.
Remarkably, I just saw one Tuesday, Dec 3 ! It just came through and kept
going.

I have seen Ruby-crowned only three times at my suet feeders in 25 years. Twice
in December 2018 and once in January 2019. A single bird all three times. I
live on five acres between Oregon City and Estacada south of the Clackamas
River.

In 11 years at my current home I have had only 2 RC Kinglets; 2013 and 2017.

I, also, I�ve had ruby crowned kinglets feeding at my suet feeders. There have
been two around, and if they are both there at the same time, each has its own
feeder.
