Hi everyone, Chad and I thank you for your kind words and apologize for any
confusion his wicked behavior caused. ;) Today has been a wonderful,
memorable day of celebration for us both. Of course I accepted his
"report"! The Common Ringed Plover, hand-carved by a local artist, will
forever have a special place in our home. I promise the ring is real, and
have provided appropriate documentation to our county eBird reviewer.
The checklist will be deleted from eBird to protect the integrity of the
database. However, we appreciate your patience if it stays up for a few
more days while we share the news with friends and family.
