Coos county is full of them. There are at least 12 in my mom's
neighborhood, several by the pioneer cemetery in Coquille, and one hanging
out near my house. All three locations have resident Cooper's hawks, and
I've seen the cemetery coopers take down a dove. The cooper's near my house
hangs near my feeder, so to my knowledge the collared doves never feed
there, although they've come close. I think they feed at the neighbor's
free range chicken feeder.
