On this year's Eugene CBC in the West Eugene Wetlands area, specifically Ed
Cone Business Park, my team spotted a Canada Goose with a collar. I reported
the collar number and just received return information on it.
The bird was collared in Salem in June 1992 (!) as an adult which means it
hatched no later than 1991 (!). Instant goose jerky for any hunter unfortunate
enough to bag it.
