For some reason National Audubon still has them listed as "Western Scrub-Jays"
in their data input program for the Christmas Bird Count.
Bend has Scrub Jays -- we aren't coastal and are Great Basin, but we don't get
"Great Basin" Scrub Jays here. If it were April 1st, I would suggest
California Expansion Jays and Middle of Nowhere Jays.
