Definitely a juvenile Red Knot Pam. They are a treat to see. We don't see all
that many Red Knots in Oregon and typically there are more observed in Spring
when they are headed north than in Summer and Fall when they are on their way
southbound.

Hi all,
There is a chunky shorebird east of the Hatfield Marine Sci Ctr nature trail
along with 2 Marbled Godwits. It has yellow legs, white supercilium,
short-ish straight bill, scaly patterning on back. Larger than Western
Sandpipers nearby.
I think it is a Red Knot juvenile. Still there, 5:48pm. See photo attached.
