[obol] RFI: (Portland) Is West Hayden Island accessible?

A couple weeks ago I was at Jantzen Beach and decided to drive to the end of
the road to see about access to West Hayden Island. Several cars were parked
at the dead end, but it seemed kind of isolated and not safe to leave a car
there. There was what looked like the beginning of a trail, but I didn't want
to go in there alone. A coworker who lives on Hayden Island said she thought
this area was private, no trespassing. Does anyone know if birders can go in
there and/or if it's worth it? Please email privately, thanks so much!
