Hello, this is the Audubon Society of Portland Rare Bird Report. This report
was made Thursday March 3. If you have anything to add call Harry Nehls at

The South Beach MOUNTAIN PLOVER and the Yaquina Bay BULLOCK¹S ORIOLE
continue to be seen. On February 28 a LESSER BLACK-BACKED GULL and a
KITTIWAKE were on the Columbia River at the Kalama, WA Boat Basin. A RUSTY
BLACKBIRD was seen that day at Woodland WA.
The Reedsport MOCKINGBIRD was seen again February 27. The Sauvie Island
MOCKINGBIRD continues to be seen. On February 25 a MOCKINGBIRD was at
Baskett Slough NWR.
On February 26 a ROSS¹S GOOSE was off the viewing platform along Reeder Road
on Sauvie Island. A GOLDEN EAGLE was photographed March 2 along Rentenaar
Road on the Island. A GOLDEN EAGLE was at Finley NWR February 27. Near
Finley NWR the PACIFIC GOLDEN-PLOVER continues along Hwy 99 at the south
jct. of Smith Loop Road. On February 27 a male ALLEN¹S HUMMINGBIRD was near
Takilma in Josephine Co.
