Hello, this is the Audubon Society of Portland Rare Bird Report. This report
was made Thursday January 24. If you have anything to add call Harry Nehls
at 503-233-3976.
The two Black-and-white Warblers and the Magnolia Warbler continue at Ona
Beach State Park. The Cabell Marsh Bean Goose continues at Finley NWR. On
January 23 a Lark Bunting was photographed along the Central Bike Path in
Ashland. That day a female Yellow-bellied Sapsucker was reported at Honeyman
State Park south of Florence.
A possible Ruby-throated Hummingbird was reported January 21 in a Troutdale
Neighborhood. On January 17 a Dipper was observed along Balch Creek in
Portland¹s Forest Park. Two male Cinnamon Teal were seen January 14 at the
Philomath Sewage Ponds. ON January 21 the Tangent Bald Eagle Roost contained
66 eagles. A Vulture was seen January 17 sitting in a mid-town Eugene tree.
