Hello, this is the Audubon Society of Portland Rare Bird Report. This report
was made Thursday December 27. If you have anything to add call Harry Nehls

The two Eastern Bluebirds continue to be seen at the Dhama Rain Zen Center
in northeast Portland. A Ruff was photographed December 19 at Ridgefield
NWR. Two Sedge Wrens are now being seen at the Waite Ranch near Florence.
The Black-and-white Warbler and the Magnolia Warbler continue at Ona Beach
State Park. The Bean Goose continues at Finley NWR. On December 20 a
White-winged Dove was photographed in Coos Bay.
Large numbers of Ancient Murrelets continue along the coast. On December 20
a Parakeet Auklet was seen off Boiler Bay.
Two Short-eared Owls continue at Broughton Beach in North Portland. On
December 23 a Palm Warbler was at 28100 Sauvie Island Road on Sauvie Island.
The Sherwood Red-naped Sapsucker continues to be seen. A Gyrfalcon was
reported December 25 near Madras. On December 23 five Bohemian waxwings
visited an Enterprise feeder. Up to at least 3300 Shovelers were seen
December 18 at Lake Abert.
