End of business today, marks the end of Count Week for the Prineville
Christmas Bird Count. Today, I added some birds to the Count Week:
Evening Grosbeak - Prineville Heights
Ring-billed Gull - Prineville Sewer Ponds
Other Count Week birds:
Mary Yanalcanlin provided a nice photo of a Red-shouldered Hawk at the
Prineville Sewer Ponds yesterday.
Mark Gonzalez and Jeff Nordstrom added Tundra Swan at Barnes Butte
Reservoir two days before the count.
Nancy MacDonald sent a photo of a Barred Owl at the Prineville Country
Club two days before the count.
Peter Low and Lew Rems found a Common Redpoll on Grimes Road north of
Prineville yesterday.
With the rest of today to go, our total Count Week tally is 104 species.
