I have reviewed my photos and believe it was more probably a
deceptively large LEAST SANDPIPER. It appeared to be the same size
as the Westerns it was standing next to and I presumed it was an
adult basic Western until I saw the yellow legs.
I did not see the bird in flight and the photos are equivocal regarding
project of the tail beyond the wing tips.
So, probably not a Temminck's Stint, but I'm willing to be persuaded
otherwise by better photos from somebody else...
