We had a fantastic day of birding to support Portland Audubon. The Paddy
Wagon team was led by Patty Newland, with participants Jason Wolf, Leslie
Meserve, Suzy Murphy, Tim Brooks and Alejandra, Nancy Mattson and Joel
Shaich.
Highlights:
-121 total species
-Blue-winged Teal at Jackson Bottoms
-Green Heron, House Wren, Eared Grebe and Am.White Pelican at Fernhill
Wetlands
-Cassin's Vireo and American Dipper at the Tillamook Forest Center
-Rhino Auklet at Barview Jetty
-Whimbrel and Red-breasted Merganser at 'oyster' jetty just south of Barview
-Red Knot, American Avocet, Semi-palmated Plover at Bayocean Spit
-Bonaparte's Gull on Netarts Bay
-FOY Swainson's Thrush at Cape Meares Lighthouse.
