Spotted Owl Field Trip to Roseburg Area - Douglas County
Trip Leader: Janice Reid, Wildlife Biologist. Janice has monitored Spotted Owls
for the Pacific Northwest Research Station in the Roseburg area for many years.
She has a deep understanding of the owls and their habitat.
When: Sunday May 15
Where: We will meet in the Roseburg Area early in the morning of May15. The
specific location and time to be determined, based on known owl locations.
Participants will be notified by email.
Birds and site conditions: Northern Spotted Owl and other western Oregon forest
birds. This trip may require off trail walking on steep slopes and in dense
brush.
How to register: This trip is limited to 12 Oregon Birding Association members.
