I've often benefited myself from trip reports posted to OBOL and Tweeters. So,
here is my latest report from a trip to NE Poland from a week or so ago. The
main draw in NE Poland is the Bialowieza forest and national park. It is the
largest chunk of primeval bottomland forest left in Europe and has been
designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site. While the birding is excellent
throughout, the area is also visited for its large mammals such as the European
Bison. The second place I visited is the Biebrza marshes, Poland's largest
national park.
Poland is cheap and easy to get to. It has the look and feel of a western
European country with a solid infrastructure and all the expected amenities.

I did take pictures, but they aren't as good as with previous trips and there
aren't many. I think I'm somewhat photography-fatigued. See here:

Enjoy!
