A White-throated Sparrow finally showed in my yard this week, much later than
usual.
I have no oversight role with eBird. My understanding is that eBird allows
unlimited expression of personal joy on its platform. No doubt posting the
Ring-bearing Plover image was quite wicked but I found it immensely charming.
CBCs will be upon us soon, and the first weekend on the west side looks like a
wet blanket.
