Today I while buying coffee at a gas station in Longview a person saw my binos
and asked if a mockingbird is found in the area. I told them of the one there
in Longview and she said there was one in Rainier close to her house. She had
lived in the south and was familiar she told me where to go. I found the bird
at 75311 Fern Hill Rd, Rainier. It flew across the road from a holy looking
shrubby tree. It flew downhill and out of sight. I did not spend much time
looking for it and left not seeing it again. The tree did have berries.
