Today we ran our first Winter Raptor Survey north of Prineville. These
surveys are sponsored by the East Cascades Audubon Society. You can support
raptor surveys in Oregon, California, Washington and Oregon by joining the
ECAS at https://www.ecaudubon.org/ . I was joined by Bob Authier, Larry
Dresher and John Unruh. The route is about 44 miles long and it took us
4:35 to run it. We found a total of 228 birds. Here's the breakdown:
