Hi all,
This problem could be solved, if and when Wheeler County is merged into
Gilliam County. The idea of merging the counties has been proposed from
time to time as Wheeler Co. deals with budget issues.
Wheeler County has plenty of dippers, including often along Bridge Creek
beside the little park, right in downtown Mitchell. Which park,
incidentally, is expected to be packed with people around August 21st,
as it's right along the path of the predicted solar eclipse.
