We recently had a pair of Bewick’s wrens that started nesting in a box in our
back yard. Unfortunately, the nest box was too close (we think) to our feeders.
The wrens just abandoned the nest after about 2 weeks. We have also recently
had a lot of European starlings at the feeders; they come through in raucous
waves, and we are thinking the noise and chaos around the feeders might have
driven the wrens away. What are thoughts on this?POST: Send your post to
