Jenna Curtis, Mike Ellis, and I just saw the mountain plover with snowy
plovers and sanderlings at 8:45 this morning about a quarter of a mile
north of the south beach state park beach access.

South Beach SP, Newport, seen 12:30 today. It was alone 1/4 mile north of
day use area beach access up in driftwood/wrack. Kind of amazing since
there are many people and dogs about. On way back to access trail, there
were 10 Snowy Plovers at water line just nw of trail.
