This morning (Tuesday) the Common Crane was the back opposite the orange
realty sign along Hwy 395 south of Davis Creek. I viewed it from 6:23 until
7:33, when I left it foraging with Sandhills. The views were quite distant,
as it was behind the irrigation pipes, but for the most part, the heat
distortion was minimal. It does seem that getting here very early is
