Well, after an aborted attempt at the Madras Raptor Route on Sunday the
15th with a count of only 8-RED-tails 2-Kestrels and 1-Rough-legged we
felt de-feeted. Waking up this morning after watching the ominous
forecast last night we were elated to see the SUN rising. Had a fast
breakfast, grabbed our bins and flew out the door. We might just be
able to finish the Madras Raptor Route before the rain came and made a
mess of 20-60" of snow in our driveway. Still an extremely low count but
better than we expected. Kei spotted the Goshawk, YEA!
