It was very windy (steady 12-15 with gusts to 30), occasional showers. Not a great birding day. We headed east to Brownsmead. Best bird was a HARRIS'S SPARROW with GOLDEN-CROWNED SPARROWS at Svensen Island. This is only the second one I've seen in the county. It's pretty clear that ducks are still moving in. We missed Bufflehead, Gadwall and Ring-necked Duck, saw no scaup, so the big winter duck transition in still coming...
