70 aloft at one point, low over the winter wheat on a southeast facing
slope. There's a gravel crossroads with deep ditch to east. Field is nw
quadrant. Good scoping conditions with morning sun at one's back. Birds are
on a slope not hiding in the grass. Plenty of dark rich yellowthroated
larks, and plenty of pale gray faced/breasted larks, some of the first l
have seen in the Willamette Valley. This is the most HOLA I have ever seen
on Livermore. Pipits as well, and more of both at the bare mud where
Livermore makes a very gentle s curve. I couldn't hear any LONGSPURS.
