Here is my bird list for Lost Lagoon Farm for the first half of January, 2017.
We identified 45 species on or from the property. With the heavy snow, we saw
the varied thrush often, eating millet below our feeders. We also got our first
look this winter at a hermit thrush. We’ve counted over 20 species at or below
our feeder, including fox sparrow and white throated sparrow. A Coopers Hawk
has been making regular appearances there of late as well.
