Below is my bird list for Lost Lagoon Farm, Gillihan Road, Sauvie Island, for
the first half of August, 2017. I birded here on just 8 of the 15 days and
identified just 39 species, down from 47 species for the 2nd half of July. New
species that I had not seen in a while included Great Egret, Bushtit and
Dark-eyed Junco. Species not seen for the first time in a long time included
Tree swallow, Brown creeper (probably still around), Hairy woodpecker (ditto),
Black-headed grosbeak and Purple finch.
