On Church Road near Peoria Road 3 days ago, I did spy a white goose at 55mph
among many Canada/Cackling geese, but hours later when I had time to stop and
check all the geese had moved on. Talking with another birder, there was
recent rumor of a Snow Goose at Finley.
Near Brownsville, Western Tanagers and House Finch have recently moved in.

Subject: [obol] Linn Co. Swainson's Hawk
Soaring over Lake Creek Dr between Hiway 99 E and Power line Rd. southwest of
Halsey, drifting northeast. It's that time of year I guess. And yes, I do
know that the name is Swainson's. Auto correct helpfully changed it to a
mistake, twice in one email, yesterday.
