Sandy, the first time I visited the 158th Ave Marsh (April 30, 2021), I saw
what I judged to be a solitary sandpiper flying away and showing the tail
pattern you describe. Lesser yellowlegs had been sighted there recently but
I didn't find it.

I found the bird confusing which I will chalk up to lighting, distance and
seasonal plumage of the bird. I got some fuzzy photos I will post on eBird
later today.
My overall impression of the the bird was light gray back, back of neck
and crown. White shoulder, side and belly. A definite, although pale
chest band. Looking at the photos I can see a short dark beak. A gray
cheek with white line above the eye that extended behind/through the eye.
Long yellow-green legs. Wing extension hard to judge but reaches to at
least tip of the tail. Primaries darker than the mantle and secondary
coverts, light edges to some of the dark feathers. Bill too heavy for a
phalarope.
And, honestly, I could be convinced this bird is not a Lesser Yellowlegs,
but a funky Solitary Sandpiper because I saw a bird fly, not sure if it was
the same bird I photographed, that showed the vertical white, dark, white
tail pattern with solid gray back and wings.
Also noted:
A female-plumaged Northern Shoveler with a dark bill.
Wilsons Snipes feeding
Green Heron
Mallards in assorted non-breeding plumages
UPS 737? Dark brown tail with three gold letters, white belly, one engine
per wing closer to the body than the tip of the wing.
