of reddish tones on top of head and back. It wasn't super close and I
didn't get a good look at the breast. But what stood out was the very
broad, bold supercilium contrasting with the cap - more than what I'd
expect from a Least Sandpiper. The bill seemed longer and thicker but I
realize there may be variation on this feature. It was foraging by
itself. A small flock of Leasts flew close by at one point from some
distance away and landed around the bend of the lake and this sandpiper did
not move to join them in anyway. Probably just a bright Least but I
thought it might be worth asking.
