Hello,
I just stopped off at South Beach SP with several co-workers and we were able
to get identifiable looks at the LAGU. Initially it was close enough to spot
from the top of the "access dune," but an adult Bald flushed everyone further
south on the beach.
When we left at 1130 it was still present, but south of the first freshwater
creek and facing into the strong wind, which unfortunately presents birders
approaching from the South Beach parking lot with mostly "butt-views".
