There did not seem to be any serious feather wear, though I suppose that is
hard to discern until it is suddenly obvious. Does the large and obvious
gonydeal angle tell us anything useful?

There could be some influence form Glaucous here,
but at the same time I'm not sure there's anything
necessarily outside the range of an (early) bleached
Glaucous-winged. For a more secure hybrid candidate
it would be nice to see something like a straighter bill,
much more significant paling of the bill base (the
minimal amount here may be within range for G-w
on this date), whitish rather than pale brownish eye
arcs, or remnants of internal patterning in the tertials.
