All who came out to Waite Ranch this afternoon heard and most saw the 2
SEDGE WRENS . The birds were quiet and skulky for the first hour and a
half before one finally began chipping. Soon after that the second bird
was pinned down by Colby Neuman and it offered a series of brief views for
the group, though stayed extremely skulky.
Many thanks to Alan Contreras for organizing trips thus far. I will be
taking over from this point, so please contact me with questions. We are
tentatively planning another trip in about 1 week, but are still waiting
for MRT clearance. More will be planned through Jan. If you want to chase
the Sedge Wrens or want another try, please contact me directly.
