Went out this afternoon after morning showers. Stopped at the wetlands on the west side of Greenhill just north of Hwy 126. Lots of shorebirds: Dublin, least, western, gr yellowlegs , killdeer and one semi-palmated sandpiper. Pipits also present. At Fern Ridge- Royal : first of county male cinnamon teal, lots of tree swallows, looked for but did not see other swallow species. Marsh wrens were vocalizing everywhere. Other than that the usual water fowl. I had the place to myself!
