This morning, Kate Shapiro and I birded south of Florence. By the time we
returned to town, it was 74 degrees.

Siltcoos Beach Rd:
Red-shouldered Hawk
Red-breasted Sapsucker (almost near the end of the road)
Cackling Geese (flock of about 50)
Snow Goose (1, with the Cacklers)
Swallows (most Barn, some Tree & Violet-green)
Marsh Wren (young & yappy)
S. Jetty Road, Dog Pond:
N. Pintail
Hooded Mergansers
Wilson's Snipe
American Bittern
Long-billed Dowitchers (8)
Dunlin (1)
Black Phoebe
Swallows here too
Red Crossbills and Yellow-rumped Warblers at all locations.
