Hi All,
Balmy 70+ degree weather on the Central Coast again. Mike and I birded
Heceta Beach just south of Driftwood Shores hotel and checked the N. Jetty
Road mudflats this morning from 945-1145.
Heceta Beach:
BUFF-BREASTED SANDPIPER - 1
BAIRD'S SANDPIPERS - at least 5
RED-NECKED PHALAROPE - 1
WANDERING TATTLERS - 3 (just standing at water's edge on beach)
MARBLED GODWITS - 6
SHORT-BILLED DOWITCHERS - 3
SEMIPALMATED PLOVERS - 800+
WESTERN SANDPIPERS - 1000+
LEAST SANDPIPERS - 300+
SANDERLINGS - 500+
CASPIAN TERN - 1
N. Jetty Road Mudflats:
WILLET - 1
WHIMBREL - 6
