Hello All,
Tye Jeske and I got a late start due to dense fog, but after it lifted ~ 10:30,
we had a good run. The route covers the West Eugene Wetlands area, north
between Green Hill Road and River Road to Hwy 36 near Junction City then
between Hwy 99W and Washburn Road to the Lane County line.

After the route we drove down Franklin Road North of Alvadore to look for the
recently reported Say's Phoebe. Consolation prize for missing the Phoebe was 70
Elk in the field south side of Franklin a mile west of Meadowview. Also had a
fun encounter with a River Otter during the route. It was actively hunting in
the small display pond along Owen Loop in West Eugene.
