Excellent find to Peter Lowe and all who posted. Jim Moodies photos are
excellent documentation including a spread toes shot confirming lack of
webbing. This has to one of very few sightings of this species away from a
notable distance from ocean shores in the US.

This morning, Randy Sinnott and Dave Westerfield from Eugene and I met by
happenstance near the North Wickiup Boat Ramp. Randy and Dave were
searching for the stint, but didn't know the area well. Based on Peter
Low's excellent directions, we walked out to the area where the bird seen
yesterday; a small flock of peeps including Western and Baird's Sandpipers
were foraging and flying in this area. A Cooper's Hawk flew over and
scattered the flock before we could glass them well. Shortly after, two
birds flew in front of us: a Baird's Sandpiper and what we believe is the
LITTLE STINT. Between Randy and I, we took over 150 photos. I've posted
several on eBird (link below) and will add a few more after I've had time
to sort through them. The images are cropped, but I believe show the
features of the bird well enough for a positive ID. Bob Sizoo and Evan
Thomas were walking out towards the area when we were leaving around 1230
hours.

The bird is to the east of the boat ramp. If you park at the boat ramp
and walk east approximately 1/2 mile you should be in the right area where
the bird is being seen. I've included a google map with the approximate
location. The water is way down, so, no you don't have to walk on water to
get to the spot.
